At the United Association Convention in August, 2011, the convention voted to increase per capita by $2.00 per member effective January 1, 2012. As per the UA Constitution, in order to put the per capita increase into effect, the monthly dues of each member will be automatically increased by $2.00 over and above the monthly Local Union dues. For members who reach age 65 by December 31, 2011 or have already reached age 65, their per capita and dues will remain the same. The monthly per capita paid to the U.A. will increase to $22.00 per month effective January 1, 2011. Metal Trades per capita will increase to $21.00 per month effective January 1, 2011.

The following dues schedule is effective January 1, 2012.

Journeyman dues - $52.00

Apprentice 50% - $26.00

Apprentice 55% - $29.00

Apprentice 60% - $31.00

Apprentice 65% - $34.00

Apprentice 70% - $36.00

Apprentice 75% - $39.00

Apprentice 80% - $42.00

Apprentice 85% - $44.00

Apprentice 90% - $47.00

Apprentice 95% - $49.00

Retirees under age 65 - $26.00

Disabled - $22.00 (this is per capita only)

Working outside trade - $26.00

Metal Trades - $32.00

Retirees reaching age 65 before12/31/11 currently paying $24.00 will remain $24.00

Retirees already age 65 and older currently paying $24.00 will remain $24.00

Retirees already age 65 and older currently paying $21.00 will remain $21.00

Disabled currently paying $19.00 will remain $19.00
